Legislation

In Tallahasse we have our lobbyist Bruce Kershner keeping a watchful eye on issues that concern the p-h-c industry.

Bruce specializes in government relations and multi-association management. He has over sixteen years experience lobbying in Tallahassee. After being involved in the construction industry for more than nineteen years, Kershner turned his interest in government into his second career. Since that time, he has developed extensive government and political expertise in addition to his construction background.

Kershner's construction experience includes holding a variety of positions from estimator to vice president before forming his own government relations firm in 1988. He has received extensive construction safety training and is a recognized leader in excavation safety. He lectures and gives seminars statewide on safety and other construction business and regulating subjects.

Since 1988, Kershner has taken an active role in developing a local and statewide association management and governmental relations firm. His governmental affairs-related clients include a number of construction trade groups. He chaired the Florida Construction Coalition from 1994-1995. The Coalition represents over thirty statewide trade associations in the construction industry.

With over thirty-five years combined experience in construction and government relations, Kershner brings a wealth of knowledge and background to his clients. Kershner’s practical experience in construction is a unique asset, which sets him apart from other lobbyists.
